Binisafua

The Villa

This privately owned villa is situated on a secluded plot, with its own pool and garden, within the residential seaside village of Binisafua (sometimes spelt Binisafuller), Menorca. A traditional fisherman's dwelling (not the building pictured above), it has been extensively refurbished and remodelled to a high-specification, and boasts three air-conditioned bedrooms, and three newly appointed bathrooms. The high quality furnishings are of a contemporary and classical style, and the kitchen has been fitted with new appliances throughout.

Only 8km from Mahon Airport, and 5km from the town of Mahon, it is easily accessible by car or taxi.

The tourist resort of Binibeca, with its warren of pure white apartments, various restaurants and supermarket, is a 10-15 minute walk away (or 5 minutes by car), and although the villa has its own private swimming pool (10m x 5m approx.), it is only 75 metres from the sea - where you can swim off the rocks pictured above, or take a short 10 minute stroll along the coast to a sandy cove, offering safe and generally uncrowded bathing.

The Villa sleeps 6-8, and the accommodation comprises:

Lounge Lounge, furnished to a high standard, with sofa-bed and monitor with in-built DVD player, a picture window that overlooks the pool and open-plan to dining area and kitchen.
Bedroom Three bedrooms - two doubles (both en-suite) and one twin-bedded – all with air-conditioning. There is an additional bathroom adjacent to the twin-bedded room.
Dining Room Dining area and fully equipped kitchen, with all new domestic appliances, including dishwasher and washing machine, and also has a new log-burning fire.
Pool A beautiful pool, approx 5m x 10m. It is not heated, but will most certainly be warmed enough by the sun during the day, and the pool, as well as the garden, can be illuminated at night.
Patio Beside the pool, we have built a new patio, which is part covered. This is dual purpose, with sun-beds available for those who wish to bake themselves, and a waterproof gazebo and outdoor lounge for shade. The large dining table seats eight comfortably for outdoor dining in the balmy evenings
Courtyard There is also a secluded courtyard, housing a well, and planted with roses, jasmine and honeysuckle.

Surrounding the house are beautiful gardens, planted with many indeginous species such as palms and bourganvilla.

The villa is serviced with a change of linen once a week. The other visitors to the property will include our gardener and pool maintenance man. Both are English ex-pats, and will be happy to help you with local information.

If you decide to rent The Villa for your vacation, a more in-depth, “Welcome Pack” will be provided with the keys.
